Worcester City’s game against Hereford Lads Club tonight has been called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Hellenic League clash had been scheduled to take place at City’s Claines Lane ground at 7.45pm this evening (Thursday, April 11).
But players are hardly likely to be too gutted by news of the postponement as it will give them a welcome chance to rest during what is a hugely congested fixture list.

City wrapped the league title with a 1-0 win at Thornbury Town on Tuesday night and travel to Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday (April 13) for the second leg of their FA Vase semi final.
Worcester take a 1-0 lead into the game, knowing they are just 90 minutes away from their first ever Wembley final.
The cup tie is an all-ticket game and fans without a ticket are being advised not to travel.
But City know they have a chance to add to their first league championship in 45 years by creating even more history on Saturday.
