Christopher Holland is the director of Loxwood Holdings, which bought Wasps out of administration.

He now owns a 97 per cent share of Atlas Worcester Warriors.

Atlas completed the purchase of WRFC Trading Ltd on May 2 but Administrators Begbies Traynor confirmed last month that there was still £1m left to pay, which must be completed by October 9.

Earlier this year, Atlas had completed their takeover at Worcester Warriors and Wasps applied to the RFU to use Sixways as their home ground.

In February of this year, Atlas had stated that Wasps would be arriving at Sixways on a minimum three-year deal, working in a partnership with Warriors as both clubs aimed to return back to top-flight rugby.

It was originally thought that Wasps would be based at Sixways as tenants.

A loan agreement in writing between a borrower and a lender registered at Companies House - was taken by Atlas Worcester Warriors, and held by Loxwood Holdings.

Wasps did provide a response to the news about the loan, saying: "Our loan to Atlas, secured by the debenture, is simply a means of securing our agreement to enter a three-year lease for Sixways Stadium.

"We have no interest at all in the property, other than a lease to play first-class rugby in the stadium."

James Sandford and Jim O'Toole are still both listed as directors for 'Atlas Worcester Warriors Rugby Club Limited'.

Jim O'Toole declined to comment on the current situation when contacted by the Worcester News.

The chair of the Warriors Rugby Supporters Club, Bob Low, tweeted "The saga takes another turn" in regard to the latest news about the club.
