WORCESTER City have snapped up goalkeeper Calum Kitscha on loan from Cheltenham Town after Nathan Vaughan sustained a groin injury.

The former Histon and Hayes and Yeading stopper has made three starts for the Robins this season and will now battle it out with Ethan Ross for the number one shirt at Worcester.

Vaughan hobbled off after just two minutes in City’s 0-0 against FC United of Manchester on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion loanee Ross replaced Vaughan and is likely to go between the sticks when Worcester take on Alfeton Town tomorrow night (7.45pm).

However, with centre back Wayne Thomas, who can play in goal, also out through injury, City have decided to bring in Kitscha.

The 22-year-old, who made his National League debut when he replaced Dillon Phillips at Eastleigh last Tuesday, is also an England C international.
