Busy Bees Droitwich are celebrating a huge refurbishment which is set to offer more than 80 children the best start in life.
The nursery, located on Worcester Road, has unveiled a £300,000 revamp, including brand-new furniture and eco-friendly resources, in a firm commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
To inspire open-ended play across all learning areas, the refurbishment includes new resources crafted from natural materials such as wood, supporting the nursery's move away from single-use plastics.
These resources have been specially designed to foster creativity and independence in children, allowing them to explore at their own pace.
Lucy Price, centre director at Busy Bees Droitwich, who joined the centre in February 2024, has more than a decade of experience in the early years sector.
She said: "At the heart of our nursery is ensuring that every single child that walks through our centre receives the best possible start in life.
"We wanted to create more bespoke spaces catered to our children’s interests and a nurturing environment where they can learn and play.
"Our refurbishment emphasises our commitment to our children, and we believe it will have a positive impact on their Busy Bees journey and their development.
"The team has worked so hard over the last six months, and I am so proud of what we have achieved – we cannot wait to see what the future holds!"
Busy Bees Droitwich provides high-quality care and early years education for 82 children aged three months to five years.
