Comedian and actor Miles Jupp is set to visit Worcester after he extended his tour.

The show, On I Bang, is scheduled to run until the end of June, with a visit to Huntingdon Hall on June 5.

The other places to benefit from the tour being extended include Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leamington Spa, Plymouth, Bury St Edmunds, London, Andover and Guildford.

Since his last tour ended at The London Palladium in 2017, Mr Jupp has acted in Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, and the Disney Plus series The Full Monty among others.

However, he underwent a major neurosurgery following a brain seizure that led to the discovery of a tumour.

The tour tells the story of Mr Jupp's journey of overcoming his health scare and continuing his successful career.

Mr Jupp has enjoyed positive reviews from several publications.

The Daily Telegraph rated his show four stars and called it a "compelling new stand-up show" while praising Mr Jupp’s "understated delivery that hits hard".

Chortle described it as "an engaging tale told with superior wit”, while The Times gave it four stars and said the “joyful show about near death is his best yet”.

Mr Jupp's previous tours include Fibber In The Heat, Miles Jupp is The Chap You’re Thinking Of and Songs Of Freedom.

As an actor, comedian and writer, his work spans across theatre, film, TV, radio, books and stand up.

Besides acting and comedy, he's also written books and contributed to BBC Radio 4 shows including hosting The News Quiz for four years.

He recently co-hosted the podcast Middle Please, Umpire with England’s World Cup-winning bowler Mark Wood.

They share a chat on their mutual love of cricket from their very different vantage points. They are often joined by guests as well.
