You could have the chance to win your weekly shop for just £1 in Aldi.

The winner will be chosen at random and contacted by phone on Tuesday, May 7.

The raffle, raising money for the supermarket chain's dedicated charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust, is part of Aldi's celebrations of donating £10 million to the charity since 2017.

The supermarket hopes to raise the bar by achieving a £15 million fundraising target by 2027.

To find out if your nearest Aldi is participating, keep a lookout for in-store posters.

Liz Fox, national sustainability director at the chain, said: "This raffle is part of our celebrations for reaching our £10 million milestone for the charity and it is a fantastic opportunity for customers to win their weekly shop for just £1."

The trust remains the only UK-based charity committed to providing specialised nursing care for people aged between 13 and 24 battling cancer.

In addition to the raffle, Aldi and the Teenage Cancer Trust are seeking volunteers to assist with in-store fundraising efforts from Friday 3 to Sunday, May 5.
