The group draws inspiration from Jamaican musical heritage and the UK's diverse subcultures, and are renowned for their catchy beats and their authentic lyrics commenting on social issues.

The band was formed in 2009 and has since gone from performing in back gardens to running their own live music club night, 'Lobster Shack'.

Over the years, the six-piece's distinctive sound has made them a popular act across Birmingham and further afield.

The group has played at a variety of locations, including swanky stores like Selfridges and more intimate spaces like secret warehouses.

Their performances have also been showcased at TEDx stages and festivals across the UK.

The Subhumans, The Drongo’s for Europe, The Mad Caddies, The Beat, and Dreadzone are just a few of the punk and reggae legends that Lobster have shared stages with.

The band released their debut album, titled "Year Of The Lobster", in November 2023, which enjoyed a warm reception.

It was played frequently on radio stations such as BBC WM, Ruffer N Tuffer, and Tonic Ska Radio.

'Do The Dog Skazine', the world's longest running ska publication, even praised the album as a "12 song masterpiece of epic proportions".

The group will be supported on stage by Who Killed The Bear and Worcester's own The Severn Collective.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets can be purchased in advance for £9.
