Much-loved children's book, 'There's a Monster in Your Book,' by Tom Fletcher, is set to be brought to life on stage.

Part of a major UK tour, this live family musical theatre show is heading to The Swan Theatre in Worcester on April 30 and May 1.

Authored by McFly's Tom Fletcher and embraced for its interactive adventures, this 50-minute high-energy theatre production is designed to be an introduction to live theatre for young audiences.

Expansive original music by Mr Fletcher and Barrie Bignold complements the playful fun children can expect as their favourite book characters take to the stage.

Tom Fletcher said: "It's been an amazing experience to see 'There's a Monster In Your Book,' come to life on stage and to get to meet the characters that I invented in my head!

"And it’s been incredible to be a part of developing the show and combining my love of writing books and stories with writing some of the songs for the production.

"'There's a Monster In Your Show’ really is the perfect first theatre trip for pre-schoolers and their families.

"Going to the theatre with kids can be stressful but this is a totally interactive show where children are not just allowed to shout, sing, clap and dance - it’s actively encouraged!”

The talented cast features actor/puppeteers Charlie Daniels, Josh Macrow, Vinnie Monachello, Ben Murrell, and Ashton Owen.

Presented by MEI Theatrical, who are known for their stage adaptations of beloved family brands, this show promises to captivate audiences with its enchanting storytelling and interactive elements.

The show, adapted for the stage by experienced playwright Zoe Bourn and directed by Miranda Larson, boasts a vivid set design by Laura McEwen.

Puppets, created by Keith Frederick, add a whimsical charm to the proceedings.
