A FIRE that threatened to engulf a hedgerow and vegetation was 'well alight' when a crew arrived to fight it.
The incident on the A442 Kidderminster Road in Droitwich occurred at 17.02pm on Saturday.
A single crew from Droitwich Fire Station attended the incident.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A hedgerow and vegetation, around 20 metres by 10 metres, was well alight and extinguished using a hosereel jet.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 5.47pm."
