A WORCESTERSHIRE business owner is making waves in the increasingly-popular world of reformer pilates.

Former Made in Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue, in particular, has been full of praise on Instagram for Sarah Gray's Playground Studios in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside.

The low-impact, mind-body exercise, done on specialist equipment, allows for a more dynamic, supportive and targeted workout.

Mother-of-two Sarah, the sole proprietor and lead instructor, opened the studio at Mill Farm, Stanford Bridge, near Great Witley, last May with the aim of reaching out to all.

But some positive social media publicity from a reality celebrity never hurts and Sarah was delighted to host a private session for Rosie who was among the original cast members of Made in Chelsea when it launched in 2011.

Sarah, 36, said: "Recently, our studio has gained attention from outside Worcestershire, particularly from Chelsea in London.

"Notably, Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea documented her session with us on social media.

"Rosie and I connected on Instagram. She is huge on the pilates scene. She is very vocal about places that she likes to go to and would recommend.

"Because she lives in the heart of London, she has access to all of of the best studios and leading instructors and understands pilates inside out so this was a big deal for me and my business.

"She was really keen to come and have a session in the studio with me and we arranged a day where she could come for a private session outside of her busy schedule of being the CEO of Rosie Fortescue Jewellery."

And it did not disappoint as Rosie said on Instagram: "It’s safe to say you guys know I’m a pilates girly!

"I recently visited Sarah Gray’s Playground Studios, a state-of-the-art reformer pilates studio in beautiful Worcestershire.

"Sarah is an established reformer pilates instructor and I was so excited for a one-on-one class and it did not disappoint!

"Sarah introduced me to exciting new flows, deepening my appreciation for the variety and expertise at Playground Studios."

So what are the foundations that impressed Rosie?

Sarah, who originally hails from St John's, Worcester, continued: "My studio is equipped with seven state-of-the-art Align reformers, providing clients with an exceptional workout experience.

"These are considered one of the best reformer brands in the industry and used by celebrities and athletes across the globe.

"As the sole proprietor and lead instructor, I've dedicated myself to creating a 'heavenly' welcoming space where individuals of all ages and fitness levels can embark on a unique wellness journey and connect with others in the local community.

"Additionally, I lead exclusive classes at The Club by Bamford in the Cotswolds (near Stow-on-the-Wold) every Wednesday morning, further showcasing our commitment to excellence and innovation."

And what are the benefits of the discipline?

Sarah added: "Reformer pilates is renowned for its ability to sculpt and strengthen the body, improve flexibility and enhance core stability – all while promoting proper posture and alignment."
