THE 'battered and bruised' pillion passenger injured in a motorbike crash has issued her heartfelt thanks to 'guardian angels' who helped her and her boyfriend.

Passenger Karen Jordan and her boyfriend, who was the rider, were both injured in a crash involving their motorbike in Wildwood Drive in Worcester at 10pm on Thursday.

However, members of the public and the emergency services stopped to help - and now she wishes to thank them as the couple's 'guardian angels'.

Neither the rider nor the pillion passenger were seriously hurt in the crash which did not involve any other vehicles. The Worcester bike crash passenger wanted to thank emergency crews for the help they provided and others who stopped to assist.

Miss Jordan of Droitwich said: "We would like to send our heartfelt thank you to all that came to help, you really are our guardian angels. A massive thank you to Heidi (I think that's the name) for your prompt first aid skills and ensuring we and all surroundings were kept safe.
