The Droitwich community has rallied to support a family who lost everything in a fire.
The Priddey family home on Burrish Street went up in flames on Friday, destroying everything they own save the pyjamas they fled their home in.
Friends and neighbours have been quick to react, with donations of toys and clothing pouring in for Tracy and John ‘JT’ Priddey and their six-year-old son, Seth.
Kylie Kelly, who has known the family for 20 years, decided to launch a fundraiser which has already received £5,000.
“Right now, they have nothing, not even a hairbrush or a toothbrush,” said Mrs Kelly.
“I spoke to Tracy today (Saturday) and she said she went to the house this morning and there is just nothing left.
“I told her everything will be okay, this town is amazing when anything like this happens and they will all want to support and help you.
“That’s what Droitwich is known for, everybody wants to help everybody.
“It’s such a lovely town.”

Police, ambulance and fire service crews were called to the scene at around 3pm on Friday (March 17).
Upon arrival, West Midlands Ambulance Service found a man in his 40s with “serious injuries” who was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where it is understood he remains as of midday on Saturday.
Medics also assessed a child for minor injuries before discharging him at the scene.
Mrs Kelly owns Gorgeous Hair Design, at the back of the Priddey house and watched the events unfold.
“Yesterday it was just horrendous,” she added.
“The poor little boy was devastated and he is really worried about his dad.
“Tracy and Seth went to stay with her mum last night, I think she’s trying to be normal for her son and do everything they would normally do.
“I don’t think it’s really set in yet.
“Droitwich knows their family very well and you can see from the support they are getting that everyone wants to do a little bit for them.”

Mrs Kelly added that they are no longer looking for donations after being inundated with offers, but money to pay for new items and to help the family carry on with their normal lives is still welcome.
