8 VAUGHAN – Responsible for keeping City in the game before the break with a string of top-class saves. Appeared to be unlucky with the penalty awarded against him.
7 Minihan – Solid in defence and forged a good partnership with Dan Nti down the right.
6 Weir – A typically all-action display on the left of City’s defence but sometimes struggled to deal with the strength of Solihull’s Akwasi Asante.
6 Gudger – Under pressure in the first half as the home side looked for the breakthrough.
7 Sharpe – Did well at times to deal with Asante’s physicality and was again strong in the air.
7 Gater – Worked tirelessly throughout and showed some neat touches as City took control of midfield after the break.
8 Nti – Excellent display going forward and was central to most of his side’s best chances. Unlucky not to make the scoresheet.
7 Deeney – Key to his side’s dominant second-half display as he marked Solihull dangerman Daryl Knights out of the game.
6 Hughes – A quiet game by his high standards but still worked the Moors defence with his clever running.
6 Geddes – Not much chance to play his passing game with such a packed midfield. Some typically fierce tackling.
6 Burton – Used his experience to create space for others, particularly Nti. Took his goal well to earn deserved replay.
