WORCESTER Golf and Country Club ace Ollie Farr is making the most of his chance at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth.
The 27-year-old, who is enjoying his first European Tour campaign this year, had been first reserve for the tour’s flagship competition.
But the withdrawal of Swedish star Jonas Blixt saw Farr promoted into the 150-strong field.
Redditch-born Farr, who represents Wales, made the halfway cut comfortably yesterday with rounds of 72 and 69 for a three-under-par 141.
He tackles the next two rounds today and tomorrow.
Farr's previous tournament this month was a struggle at the Open de España in Barcelona as he missed the halfway cut and finished joint 121st after a nine-over-par 153.
