WORCESTER lost 2-0 at Boots seconds in Midlands Women’s League Division Two.
The visitors, who only had 11 players available, were soon 1-0 down following a short corner.
They began to settle and put pressure on the Boots defence but found themselves two down after another short corner.
Worcester’s heads did not drop and they were unlucky not to hit back after great work by Libby Wycherley and Clare Hayes, both denied by the stick of the Boots keeper.
The visitors were the dominant team after the break but were continually denied by the keeper.
Worcester’s defence held strong and good saves from Jess Ferrier and tackling by Issy Heath frustrated the hosts’ attack.
