TRAFFIC on the A449 near the Claines roundabout was disrupted this morning after two cows got onto the road.
The cattle had escaped from a nearby field and police officers were called out to deal with the situation.
Traffic was controlled while the officers worked to get the animals to return to the field, which they did so unharmed.
The road is now clear, report the police.
